SCIENCE – BACKED PET WELLNESS FOR EVERY PAWRENT

Clinical rigour, traditional wisdom, and the empathy to know the difference. Built for pet pawrent who want to truly understand

What We Do

Helping every pawrent care with confidence

Our Story

Some of us grew up in homes where there had always been a pet, as natural a presence as anyone else in the family. Some of us arrived here as adults, building that bond for the first time. But wherever we started, we ended up in the same place: walking alongside them, watching television together, finding in a distracted world the only love that never asks for anything back.

Why We Exist

We discovered the hard way that the food we trusted, the training methods we followed, the products we bought with care — many were built on habit, assumption, and marketing rather than science. Pets lost to conditions that better knowledge might have changed taught us that empathy without understanding is incomplete. So we built Goodboy Friday.

Our Three Philosophies

Honest Ingredients

We do not hide behind proprietary blends, vague claims, or ingredients that exist to fill a label rather than nourish your pet. Every ingredient we recommend or carry has earned its place through evidence, not trend. What is good for humans is not automatically good for pets. What is popular is not automatically safe. We start from first principles every time — because your pet cannot read the label, but you can, and we want that label to mean something.

Ancient Wisdom, Modern Proof — for an Ancient Bond

For centuries, people around the world — from South Asian kitchens to East Asian apothecaries, from North African herbalists to European monastic gardens — passed down knowledge about plants, remedies, and care. Science is only now catching up with what they already knew. Turmeric is one example. There are many more. Always Friday is rooted in integrative science: ancient herbal traditions, homeopathic wisdom, and the full spectrum of modern evidence-based and allopathic research — because the most complete picture comes from all of them together.

Empathy Is a Calling

We do not believe in training through dominance. To truly care for another species, you must learn how they think, what they fear, what brings them joy. Empathy is something you practise and grow into — and when grounded in science, it becomes a bond that makes both of you whole.

Our Promise

Our pets would forgive us anything. They probably already have.

The very least we can do is keep learning, keep improving, and pay back — however imperfectly — the unconditional love they never once withheld.
